Mavi, Muhammed Beke’nin kişisel yazılarını bir araya getirdiği sade bir blog. Burada günlük hayattan, zihinde takılı kalan ayrıntılardan, şehirden, dilden ve zaman zaman da içe dönen düşüncelerden söz ediyorum. Akademik bir dil kurmaya ya da büyük iddialar taşımaya çalışmıyorum; anlaşılır, sakin ve mümkün olduğunca dürüst cümleler kurmak istiyorum. Yazıların tonu genelde dingin ve mesafeli, ama gerektiğinde doğrudan ve eleştirel; ne sadece duygusal bir günlük, ne de soğuk bir deneme dili. Amaç, okuyanla uzun açıklamalara girmeden ortak bir düşünme alanı kurmak: Kısa bir linkle gelip, fazla oyalanmadan metne girebilmek, okumayı bitirince de kafada bir soru ya da hafif bir yankı bırakmak. Bu yüzden burada uzun girişler, kendimi anlatan sayfalar ya da parlak sloganlar yerine, doğrudan yazıların kendisi duruyor; geri kalanı ayrıntı sayıyorum.
